We’re looking forward to a combined Orchard and Library fundraising event at Jesmond Library on Saturday 15 November, when Les Frères Frangipane will be presenting an evening of musical fun and frivolity. Jules and Jim Frangipane are Geordie francophiles who perform French chansons by Georges Brassens, Charles Trenet, Boby Lapointe and many others, sung in French, interspersed with explanations and stories in more or less fluent English. There’ll also be some nibbles to sustain you, with freshly-pressed apple juice and other drinks. Far too good to miss!
Doors open at 7.300, music starts at 8.00. £10 per person payable at the door.
