This year’s Apple Day celebration is due to take place on Saturday 14 October, 1.00 – 3.30 p.m. Now that the Orchard has been extended, we’ll be able at last, to hold the event in the Orchard itself! It’s located in the north-west corner of St. Andrew’s Cemetery; access from the main gate on Tankerville Terrace of from the entrance at the end of Brentwood Avenue, between West Jesmond Primary School and Fairfield Road. As usual, there’ll be cakes, music, apple tasting and you can have a go at making apple juice (and taking some home), plus some games and crafts. A fun day out for all the family.
