The Orchard is growing!

The lodge in St. Andrew’s Cemetery has become vacant and we’re delighted that the Council has agreed that Jesmond Community Orchard can take over part of the lodge’s huge garden. This exciting development will almost double the size of the Orchard – you’d be welcome to join in our gardening days to help with planting and maintaining the new space. We’ll need to raise funds to help pay for new fencing, hedging etc., so if you’d like to make a donation you can use the “Donate” button to leave a message and we’ll let you know how to proceed and of course you can help our fund-raising by coming along to our famous Plant Stall, part of Jesmond Community Festival – details coming shortly!
