Despite the rather damp half term weather many children and grown ups enjoyed finding the teddies. We are very grateful to all 27 hosts who gave window space (or in two cases a wall and a garden!) to the cute and sometimes scary characters. A map with the Teddy hiding places revealed is now in the Library window.
We had one rather sad casualty during the week. For reasons we will never understand Bosky Bear was assaulted and mugged! Somebody (or bodies) stole his toffee apples and broke his right hedge arm. This happened towards the end of the week and his owner was able to carry out some emergency first aid.
Two families sent in some lovely photographs which they are happy to share on the Jesmond Library Facebook page. One entrant submitted a full list of all the bears that he saw, all written in his best handwriting. The library’s own Jez the Ted was one of the favourites. What did you think?
The Trail Team send their best wishes to you all. Stay well and safe.
